Damages & Returns

Customer Service is the MOST important part of our business. If you aren’t happy, we aren’t happy!  If for ANY reason you are not 100% satisfied with the products you’ve purchased from us, please let us know. We will be glad to do everything in our power to come to a satisfactory resolution!

DAMAGES -  If your package arrives damaged, the first thing you must do is retain the box and all packing materials, as well as the damaged item. If you have the ability, photograph the item and any damage to the outer packaging (dents, punctures, etc) and send those photos along with your notification of damage. (This will expedite your claim with the shipper.)  We will be happy to file the claim on your behalf.  YOU MUST CONTACT US WITHIN 10 DAYS OF DELIVERY OF THE PACKAGE.

When you contact us, you need to give us the following information:
Your Name, Daytime Phone, Order #, how the item is damaged, If there was damage to the outside packaging and if that damage was noted by the delivery person

REFUNDS - We hope you are enjoying your purchase from Kalona Historical Village Gift Shop. If the item did not meet your expectations, we will make every effort to correct the problem within a timely manner. If you wish to return the item, we will be happy to issue a refund in the same form of payment in which it was purchased, excluding shipping charges. Returns must be shipped back at your own cost, insuring the item for its full value. You must contact us within 10 days of receipt of order to receive an authorization code before returning your item. All returned items must be in original condition and undamaged. Keep all return shipping information. If your return arrives damaged, you will need to file a claim from the shipper, as we will not refund your purchase.
